Japan's only subtropical island Okinawa is located at the southernmost tip of Japan, and Okinawa floating between the Pacific Ocean and the East China Sea is a prefecture consisting of 160 large and small islands, with 1.34 million people living there. The annual average temperature is 22.7 degrees Celsius, which is the only subtropical prefecture in Japan.

If the plane is canceled due to a typhoon…
July. Typhoons may hit all over Okinawa, mainly in September, and airplanes may be canceled. First of all, check your ticket!
■Please check the air ticket first.■
For personal tickets
●Please receive a "vacant numbered ticket" at the airline counter where you plan to board.
●As soon as it becomes possible to operate the plane, we will call you the number of the “Vacancy numbered ticket”. Please complete the boarding procedure.
●The vacant numbered ticket issued for canceled flights due to the effects of the typhoon is issued with a continuous number and is valid until the impact of the typhoon disappears.
● Tickets are valid until the boarding date (the first day when vacant seats are available) if the airline and route are the same.
●"Individual ticket" refers to a personal ticket, and "group ticket" refers to a group trip or a travel participation sponsored by a travel agency, and a voucher (coupon).
●For customers who do not wait for a reservation, we will issue a vacant numbered ticket.
●Airlines may operate temporary flights to terminate the disruption caused by typhoons as soon as possible. Please pay attention to announcements at the airport.
● Depending on the fare type, some airline tickets can only be used by that airline. Please be careful.
For group tickets
●If the tour attendant is accompanied by the tour, the tour attendant will arrange everything.
※Please follow the instructions of the conductor.
● If there is no tour attendant to participate in the sponsored tour, please get instructions at the counter of the host travel agency at the airport. Before waiting for a vacancy, please receive a ticket or boarding pass voucher at the host travel agency counter.
● The travel agency that hosts the tour has an information counter at the airport. Please contact the travel agency that hosts your tour.
■If you would like a hotel■
For personal travel
●If a typhoon is predicted, please ask for advice such as typhoon movements and flight cancellation information at your accommodation. We will advise you on arranging air tickets in case of cancellation and securing hotels.
●If you have already checked out the hotel, please contact the hotel at the previous night. If there is no room available, please contact the Naha Airport Tourist Information Center (TEL.098-857-6884) or the Naha City Hotel Association (TEL.098-861-4166). However, if it is not possible to respond sufficiently due to congestion, please make a reservation by visiting the hotel guide brochure.
● If you are having trouble deciding where to stay, please contact the Naha Airport Tourist Information Center or the staff of the nearby Okinawa Tourism Convention Bureau (OCVB).
●When a typhoon is predicted, each hotel offers tropical cyclone information.
●In the event of a typhoon, every counter is very crowded. Please act calmly in case of inquiries and other matters.
●Please be sure to stay at the hotel where reservation is OK. If you can't stay, please contact us.
For group travel
● Please contact the tour operator or the host travel agency as soon as possible. We will secure a hotel as much as possible.
● Please contact the travel agency counter at the airport or the travel agency branch in the city.
