August 2 "Habu Snake Day"

August second is Habu Snake's Day.

Habu Snake lives in Okinawa Prefecture and is feared as a poisonous snake.
There are two facilities related to Habu Snake in Okinawa World.

In Habu Museum Park, we want to learn about Habu Snake and contribute to reducing the damage.
There are exhibitions of various materials and living organisms related to Habu Snake, as well as Habu Snake shows.

Nanto Brewery manufactures and sells Habu Snake Liquor.
Utilizing Habu Snake captured to reduce damage, taking into account the viewpoints of preservation as endemic species and coexistence with humans.
From the viewpoint of viable use, we manufacture in a balanced manner.

The facility is designed to benefit from the Habu Snake on a daily basis.
This year, we also held the "Habu Snake memorial service" to thank Habu Snake.

The creatures living on this island are all special and part of irreplaceable nature.
The highly poisonous Habu Snake is one of the top ecosystems living in Okinawa.
In order to protect and pass on the nature of Okinawa, I would like to know the ecology of Habu Snake correctly and aim for a path of coexistence.
