Kingdom History Museum

A museum that introduces the nature, culture and history of Ryukyu in an easy-to-understand manner. A must-see for the world's Shisa collection, which is a collection of Okinawan Shisa and Asian lions, which are considered to be the prototype of it. Special exhibitions based on Okinawa's history, culture, and life are also being held at any time.

On display are crafts influenced by exchanges with China and Southeast Asia, such as lacquerware, pottery, and sanshin, which are traditional Okinawan crafts. A special exhibition is being held at any time while replacing a number of collections.
