Okinawa World’s solutional cave “Gyokusendo Cave” is home to approximately 200 small ping-pong ball size Okinawa least horseshoe bat. In the daytime, Okinawa least horseshoe bat sleeps in the back of solutional cave and does not appear much, but at night she wakes up and works in search of food.
In this observation session, we will look for and observe "Okinawa least horseshoe bat" (endangered IB) living in solutional cave.
Okinawa least horseshoe bat is a bird? Mammals? Where do you go to sleep and when to look for food? What do you eat and how do you sound?
Experience listening to the conversations of Okinawa least horseshoe bat and others using a special device "Bat detector".
It is easy for children to understand, but adults are also welcome. It is difficult for adults to find Okinawa least horseshoe bat in the limestone cave at night. Enjoy the night Gyokusendo Cave where the Okinawa least horseshoe bat and the cool sound of water echoes.
