In Okinawa, we often see giant bats (flying or hanging around wires), but we don't see a small Okinawa least horseshoe bat roosting caves.
In the lecture before observation, we will check the actual shape and size of Okinawa least horseshoe bat in Gyokusendo Cave and then head to Gyokusendo Cave.

The Okinawa least horseshoe bat and others roost at the back of the branch of Gyokusendo Cave go through the tourist cave area and go hunting in the forest outside the cave. It is a tourist cave area full of travelers during the day, but at night it turns into a work route for Okinawa least horseshoe bat and others.
Observations are conducted in such a tourist cave area. When you turn the bat detector (Okinawa least horseshoe bat detector) into the darkness, you can feel the signs of the Okinawa least horseshoe bat and others flying in that direction along with the sound of pyrolorolo and pyrolorolo.
