Today, August 2 is Habu Snake Day.
It is an anniversary officially recognized by the Japan Memorial Day Association.
This year, Okinawa World held a Habu Snake memorial service on the day of Habu Snake to give thanks to Habu Snake asHabu Snake.

In Okinawa World, Habu Museum Park was opened in 1979 with the idea of making many people aware of Habu Snake and contributing to reducing damage to Habu Snake. Materials and living organisms related to Habu Snake are on display.
We perform "Habu Snake Show" three times a day in the park, and many customers enjoy the show.
Nanto Brewery manufactures and sells Habu Snake Liquor. Utilizing Habu Snake, which is captured to reduce damage, we take into account the viewpoint of preservation as a endemic species and coexistence with humans, and we manufacture it while balancing from the viewpoint of viable use.

In order to protect the nature of Okinawa, Okinawa World will continue to learn about the ecology of Habu Snake and communicate it to everyone, aiming for coexistence between humans and Habu Snake.
