This is a summer-only adventure tour that goes on a dark cave as it is, relying solely on the light of the head lamp. Now, let's go on adventure this summer!

The charm of Explore the Cave in the Southern Island

  • In the exploration area of Gyokusendo Cave, huge Speleothem and beautiful Speleothem hang down everywhere, you can enjoy the powerful scenery unique to subtropical limestone cave.
  • I will explore the flow of the underground river flowing through the cave. Compared to the ground, the water temperature is about 18 degrees Celsius. It's not too cold and comfortable! ? I'm sorry.

About Gyokusendo Cave

Okinawa is surrounded by seas of coral reef and subtropical islands. There are more than 600 limestone caves. The largest limestone cave is Gyokusendo Cave. Founded over 300,000 years, Gyokusendo Cave is one of the largest in Japan, with a total length of 5,000 meters and more than one million Speleothem. Gyokusendo Cave's first exploration and research was conducted by the Department of Academic Expedition. Over the years from 1967 to 7 years, he survived various difficulties and revealed the whole picture of this huge cave. At present, the sightseeing cave area of Gyokusendo Cave is 890m, and the remaining 4,000m or more is unlisted areas preserved for research purposes.
