Hey Thai~!
Today, March 4th is "Sanshin Day" by word matching.
"Sanshin" is said to be a symbol of Okinawan culture.
It is a traditional Okinawan instrument that is played in various places today.
You are also familiar with pops such as "Treasures of Islanders".
At the Kingdom History Museum in Okinawa World Ryukyu Kingdom Castle Town
We're on display of Sanshin.
(From left) Kankara Sanshin, Shamisen, Sanshin, Sangen
The Chinese Sangen became Sanshin Line in Okinawa, and the Sanshin Line crossed to the mainland.
It is said that it has become a shamisen.
If you compare it, Sangen and Sanshin are still similar.
Kankara Sanshin is a Sanshin made of empty cans and other materials in an era when there is no post-war thing.
You can feel the love of the people of Okinawa for Sanshin.
We will also answer a few questions that are often asked by our customers.
Question 1 "What is the difference between Sanshin and Shamisen?"
→The biggest difference is the material.
Snake skin is used for the trunk of the sanshin, and shamisen is made of dog and cat skin.
In addition, there is a difference in how to play.
The shamisen plays with bees, while the shamisen plays with bees.
The Sanshin is played with a "claw" made of buffalo corners on the fingertips.
Recently, I sometimes use picks.
Question 2 "Is the Sanshin used Habu Snake skin?"
→It looks like a Habu Snake skin, but it's not.
Because Habu Snake is small, I can't get enough skin to stretch it over the sanshin.
For this reason, he imported the skin of a snake called "Indanishiki Snake" and stretched it on the sanshin.
Recently, a lot of synthetic leather products have been sold.
On the bulletin board outside the museum, there is also a panel display on Sanshin.
Please take a look when you come.
