Do you know? (I don't think it's well known, but I'll let you know.)
Every year, April 23 is "Craft Beer Day" and "Beer Day".
It is said that the first in the world to define "what is beer?" was the "beer pure order" issued by Vilhelm IV in Bayern, Germany on April 23, 1516.

In 2001, Nanto Brewery began producing local beer and Nihede beer in response to the voices of customers traveling from outside the prefecture, saying, "Do you have any local beer?" In 2016, we rebranded Nihede beer and became OKINAWA SANGO BEER.
Introducing "OKINAWA SANGO BEER".
Tamaki, Nanjo City, where Nanto Brewery is located, is a region rich in spring water, with a river called Kakihana Okegawa, which was selected as one of the 100 best waters. We draw water from 100 meters below the Gyokusendo Cave solutional cave in Okinawa World and make craft beer from that water.
Gyokusendo Cave is a solutional cave formed by the rise of coral reefs. After that, it was named "OKINAWA SANGO BEER".
Water is an important material that accounts for 90% of beer. The groundwater of Gyokusendo Cave, created by 300,000 years, is known as water rich in calcium and minerals. Gyokusendo Cave is hard water, but it is characterized by changing it to a craft beer specification and having a solid taste and good taste.
No filtration treatment is performed to keep the beer's yeast filled alive. Therefore, it is made of living yeast and is a refrigerated product. The charm is that you can enjoy the original taste of beer.
In addition to the taste of living yeast with 100% malt, it is a high-quality beer that uses luxurious hops. Because the craftsmen carefully make one by one, it is produced in small quantities. When you visit Okinawa World (Nanto Brewery), enjoy craft beer.
