Announcement of the Shisa Day Campaign

※The campaign is over.

April 3 is "Shisa Day" in Okinawa Prefecture as a word gathering.

Shisa (lion) is said to have originated from China in amulet, Okinawa. At the beginning of its introduction, Shisa protected the royal tombs and castle gates as a "symbol of power", but gradually spread to the common people, and a "village lion" was created to protect the village from evil. Now, with the "roof lion" placed on the roof of the house as the lead, Shisa has been placed everywhere, from the gatepost to the inside of the house. Shisa is also changing into various forms according to the lifestyle of the people of Okinawa.

Therefore, as a Shisa Day campaign, we distribute a 10% discount ticket for the experience that can be used at the "Weaving Studio" to customers who have experienced various Shisa experiences at "Pottery Studio" in Okinawa World for two days on April 3 and April 4, 2024!
You can experience coasters and mats that can also be used as rugs for Shisa at a great price.
