Okinawa Prefecture is conducting a campaign to prevent Habu Snake bites.
This is an activity in which citizens and tourists are calling for prevention of Habu Snake bite damage beforehand. Dangerous poisonous snakes (Habu Snake) live in the prefecture, so it seems that many citizens of the prefecture have excessive fear of snakes. However, in fact, about half of the snakes you encounter on a daily basis are harmless snakes.
If you have the right knowledge of Habu Snake’s habits and countermeasures, you can alleviate excess fear of Habu Snake.
Leaflet "Beware of Habu Snake!" (PDF: 4,453KB) (Document: quoted from Okinawa Prefecture website)

In Okinawa, signs indicating [Beware of Habu Snake] are installed in places with grasslands such as parks and public facilities. (Recommended articleExternal blog: Beware of Habu Snake! My Habu Snake Note Collection)
The signboard I took in search of a story the other day, but on the signboard of Habu Snake attention, [watch dog caution] and black spray make it Maggie (meaning Maggie is big in dialect). If you look closely, the tape was peeled off, and I don't know if the text was small or Habu Snake was pulled by the impact of attention, but I wonder if it was overwritten with black spread. If there is a guard dog in this place, Habu Snake will not be able to stop by.
In Okinawa World, there is a brewery that manufactures and sells Habu Museum Park and Habu Snake Liquor, so you can learn about the poisonous snake Habu Snake. (We also recommend the Okinawa World Habu Snake show.)
There are two undiluted sake tanks used for the preparation of Habu Snake Liquor installed in the tour passage of Nanto Brewery, and one you can see the "Herb undiluted sake Tank" with 13 herbs.

Herb Extraction! It contains a lot of gentle herbs in your body.

The second tank is the so-called "scream tank" that extracts Habu Snake extract.
The reason why it is called a scream tank is that there are about 150 Habu Snakes in this tank. If you are not good at reptile or Cambridge, you will be surprised. It is also a spot where you can hear screams. (If you are not good at it, I'm really sorry.)
This undiluted sake Infiltration Tank (Habu Snake Extract) performs special treatment with good freshness and attaches sterilized Habu Snake to a high concentration of awamori. This Habu Snake extract is extracted over a long period of time to become a delicious Habu Snake Liquor.
Nanto Brewery’s Habu Snake Liquor “Beware of Habu Snake!” This is a package that draws attention, such as "Habu Snake Genshu (100ml)" and "Habu Snake Genshu (100ml)" for Ryukyu Habuball (100ml) and keeps out of camouflage with original Habu Snake sticker.
