[Limited Time South Island Underground Jack O Lantern]
One of the highlights of Gyokusendo Cave, "The Golden Cup" is a kind of Speleothem called "Rimstone Dam" with an outer circumference of about 31 meters and a height of about 2.5 meters. Because its shape and rocky skin resemble pumpkin, it has been called "Nankuwashi" locally.
In an Okinawan dialect, pumpkin is called "Nankuwa" or "Chinkwa", and rocks and large stones are called "Sea".
This "The Golden Cup" is a giant jack o'lantan for a limited time!
The underwater light-up around the area will also change to Halloween color.
